CHURCHES:SEASIDE
Seaside Church, at Skipanon, was constituted at the home of Brother Jacob Hess, on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in September 1877, with eight charter members, viz., Jacob Hess, E. E. Hess, Beverly W. Gilmore, William H. Gilmore, Sarah Gilmore, C. N. Hess, Minnie Hess, and Lucy C. Heckard. The presbytery was composed of Elders Paul P. Chamberlain, Isom Cranfill, John Stipp, and James A. Bullack, with other brethren.
