DRY FORK (LAKE SPRING)(1833)

Dry Fork Church was probably organized in about 1833, near Lake Spring; the oldest records of the church begin with June 1834 and continue through May 1879. A later book begins in 1898, and continues through . Dry Fork Church was a member of the Little Piney Association throughout its history. The church for many years had over one hundred members. Moderators and pastors from 1834 to 1879 included Elders Thomas B. Snelson, David Lenox, John Brown, and Christopher Howell. Clerks included John B. Harrison, James Brown, George W. Moore, Isaac Adams, Richard Jones, Wilson Lenox, and James H. Wilson. Information about the church's meeting house has not been located, but one source says that the last building was sold and razed in 1990.

ROUND POND (ANUTT)

Round Pond Church was also a member of the Little Piney Association. It was located at the site of the Round Pond Cemetery, near Salem, Missouri.
