FULTON (FULTON)(1899)

Fulton Primitive Baptist Church was organized on the third Sunday in May, 1899, at Fulton. A new church building was erected, which was dedicated on June 17, 1900. The Fulton Convention, a general meeting of Primitive Baptists, was held here in November 1900. The church united with the Philesic Association, which became the Greenfield-Philesic Association in 1904. The church was dropped in 1905, due to the trouble with the Kirklands, but was restored to the Association in 1914, and continued to represent until 1933.
