BIG WALNUT CREEK

Big Walnut Creek Church, near Perry, (originally eleven miles west of Leavenworth) was organized on Saturday before the first Sunday in March, 1867, under the pastoral care of Elder William F. Jones. Notice was sent to the Signs of the Times by Jeremiah Wilson. (Minutes from 1927 to 1960 are located in the Primitive Baptist Library, Elon College, NC.)

Kansas River Church, Newman, was organized ....

BUCK CREEK

Buck Creek Church, Perry, was organized ....

BETHLEHEM

Bethlehem Church, Oskaloosa, was organized in 1869 or 1870, and united with the Kaw Valley Association at its second session in 1870.

CROOKED CREEK

Crooked Creek Church, Winchester, was organized before 1873. The location is shown at times as Leavenworth County.

LITTLE FLOCK

Little Flock Church, near Williamstown, was organized on Saturday before the second Sunday in March 1879, at Schoolhouse #80, in Jefferson County. The presbytery consisted of Elders William F. Jones, moderator, B. S. Pate, and J. A. Peters; and brethren A. Simmons, A. D. Jones, Ira Huffman, C. C. Mendenhall, T. J. Housh, M. N. Casebier, G. G. Wood, T. G. Wood, and R. Higley. The charter members were Deacon G. G. Wood, Araminta Wood, T. G. Wood, Elizabeth Wood, Laura Wiss, and Hannah Carney.
