CHURCHES:

HONEY CREEK (TIFFIN/BLOOMVILLE)

On the 27th of May, 1827, the Baptist church, named Honey Creek, was organized. The council was composed of Elders Thomas Snelson, of Highland county, and Benjamin Caves, of Pickaway county, and Deacon John Hite, of Fairfield county. In 1830, Elder Lewis Seitz was chosen pastor of this church and served for many years.
