ANTIOCH (JACKSONVILLE) (1947)

Antioch Church was constituted on March 2, 1947. The original church building was transfered from Camp Blanding, to the corner of East 64th and Russell Streets in Jacksonville, where it still stands. The building itself has a high vaulted ceiling, a dining hall, and a baptistry. The first moderator was Elder O. W. Thomas, followed by Elders G. W. Thomas, Louie Crawford, Herman Jordan, C. C. Houston, James Land, Jr., Cleave Blanton, Charlie Cox, Everett ___, Daniel Ball, and Harry Brooker.
