CHURCHES:

CORINTH (LEE) (1881)

Corinth Church was organized in 1881. The first services were held in a log building, with Elders John Williams Sr., serving as pastor, until his death in January 1902. Later pastors have included Elders J. E. Blanton, John Williams Jr., W. C. Stanaland, John Harris, U. D. Jones, W. D. Stanaland, Lester Dixon, Daniel R. Bell, and Hershel Griffin. A new building was erected in 1985.

Fellowship Church appears in the minutes of Ochlocknee Association for 1849, with Silas Cason and S. Strickland as messengers.
